The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) community proudly celebrates another turning point in its academic history and proves its commitment to producing globally competitive professionals as its alumna, Ms. Cheska D. Orosco, secured the second place in the Certified Human Resource Associate (CHRA)โ„ข Assessment Examination โ€“ Batch 54.
ย
A proud product of TAU, Orosco is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Psychology (BSP) in 2024. Stating the challenges she went through when she took the examination on 22 December as she brought pride to her Alma Mater by clinching the top 2 and setting an outstanding rating of 92.75%, Orosco shared that the questions really tested her knowledge in HR practices, labor laws, and real-world HR scenarios which required thorough preparation and a deep understanding of the field.

โ€œWhen I found out I passed and ranked as Top 2, I felt a mix of relief and pride, knowing that my hard work truly paid off. Achieving this recognition was a huge confidence boost and reinforced my commitment to furthering my career in the field,โ€ she stated.

CHRAโ„ข is an assessment examination of the basic knowledge in the field of HR management by the Human Resource Educatorsโ€™ Association of the Philippines, Inc. (HREAP). With an overall passing rate of 74.82%, the 2024 examination is designed to assess the fundamental knowledge that a human resource practitioner must possess. Also, the examination was held in multiple venues and covered in-person and online assessment.

Among hundreds of examinees, TAU also produced two passers: Ricah Jane Yala Bo and Steffany Elyssa Almazan both graduates of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA).

This achievement proves TAU's commitment to academic excellence and student development, especially from the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) and College of Business and Management (CBM).

The administration, faculty, and the entire TAU community commend Ms. Orosco, Ms. Bo, and Ms. Almazan and wish them all the best in their future careers.
